True I don't want to over engineer the problem. I will pick up some tee's to run it parallel. It just bugs in that in the stock config the trans temp is still telling me that its running a little warm. I have herd and read about these e4od's, but this is the first time dealing with cooling issues with a auto.

Paul is an awesome trans builder and he also builds valve bodies for E4OD and 4R100 trans. The valvebody will make your trans shift like it should, keep it cooler, and help it live longer.

You can reach him here

If you search Punisher on here there are a few threads. He is really big on NLOC and other lightning websites. Quite a few threads on NLOC about his transmissions and valvebodys.

Ok I found some brass tee's and hose to parallel the stock trans cooler and after market cooler. While I have the after market cooler disconnected, should I rotate the coolers 90 degrees? the reason I ask is the lines in the cooler are traveling up and down. Should they be going side to side?

Thanks Shawn

Well Mark do you have any suggestions to keep the trans heat at a reasonable temp. Right now it is in the stock config and I can still get the trans above 225. Does this trans like running hot or did the trans shop rebuild the trans wrong? I dont know what upgrades they did to the trans but that is what I was told when I bought the truck is they put the (Better) upgraded parts in. Idk I didn't have this problem with my 90 F150 BC it was a 5 speed. Thanks for all your input.

I'd keep the cooler in the radiator, junk the two other coolers, and install a cooler from a 6.0L truck.

My 0.02 USD worth . . .

Just as a note, the '97 F250/350's with a 460 and a towing package have fairly good sized aux coolers.
