Towing mileage report

Towed the 5th wheel got 11.6-11.8 towing and 16.7 highway no trailer

Outstanding, now what configuration is your truck, gearing, size/weight of 5th wheel, etc.??

F250 XLT supercab long bed.....trailer dry weight 6610... towing weight 8-9k

tongue weight 1170......3.73 gears 4x2....trailer cvwr 11,300

speed 60-65

Flogging on mine running 80mph towing 8000lb TT in a CC LB 4x4 with 3.73 up and down hills between 0' and 9000' I get around 6-9 mpg.

7600# travel trailer netted me 8 mpg one way and almost 9 the other.
