08 Memory Seat diagram?
I need help! I bought a set of power seats from a 08 F250 Lariat. No heat, but seems like they have memory judging by the circuit board underneath the seats. I hooked the passenger side up to power, it works. I hook up the grey/red to + and blk/violet to ground and the drivers side won't work. There's a jillion wires on it, but I know I'm getting power because I went to cut one connector and it sparked and blew the fuse.
What do I do from here? I can't use my old seats anymore so I need this sucker workin! The circuit board looks fried, the people who removed the seat got one of the connector ports all bent out of shape and a capacitor is hanging off it. Do I need the circuit board to make this thing work? Do any other wires besides the + and - need to be hot? Is there any way to manually move the seat so that I can just slide it back? I'd be happy with that!

The DSM (drivers seat module) controls the movement.
Maybe you can supply power to the motors and get it to move.

Ok but I can't feasibly hook up the DSM to my 2000 7.3. What do I need to do to get the seat motors working without that damned circuit board? I don't have any diagrams for the motor wiring either. I have them for non-memory but they might be different because of the sensors involved with memory seats?

From the factory wiring manual for '08

Tap into the motor wires and apply power.
To move it apply 12 volts to either the yellow/white or the red/white wire and ground the other.
Reverse the connection to change direction.
