I can't imagine how. They are two, totally different body styles and shapes. The new for '53 body is considerably wider than the previous trucks, COE's included. The hoods certainly won't interchange on the conventionals, and I'm sure you'll find the COE's are no different.

Since I have a 52 and 53 COE. (Unfortunatly not setting side by side) but I can take any detailed measurements you need. I can get some basic dimensions on the 52 if you need.

Or. Just set that hood on there and start sectioning and fitting to the cab!
