Holley or Edelbrock?????
I'm shopping for a new carb for my '78 F250 460. Are there any major differences in Holley vs. Edelbrock?
The two I found for my stock 460 are:
Holley 64-5039/Summit
Edelbrock 1406/Jegs
The 1406 is a little cheaper, but not enough to be the decision maker.
Thanks guys!

Plug-n-play is definitely a decision maker. I've never had much luck messing with carbs in the past.

I run the eddy as well, no fussing around with it every few weeks. The only issue I have is the starting after the engine is hot. When cold, even after sitting for a few weks, just pump the pedal twice and it fires right up. After I drive it around town for a while, it has to crank for a while before it starts. I've read this is a issue with the eddy's. Do you have this problem?

And ask away.. better to ask and than not too. We try to be a family here, although in a somewhat disfunctional, but somehow it works out in the end type of way.
