Sounds like the notorious steering column short. There is a wire in the steering columns that get rubbed and eventually shorts out. I have personally had this problem, easy fix. Do a search for steering column short or something like that. You should have a blown fuse under the dash, forget which one. Someone more knowledgeable will chime in maybe with a link.

all fuses good....towed home thank god only 2 miles 62 bucks now the fun starts....btw.. i do have headlights only turning over and no instrument panel gauges checked and unhooked batteries and let them sit a few minutes still nothing...still think its gonna be that shifter wire? I have a tuner with a scanner around just gotta find it, see if i can get any codes which I doubt i will but gotta start somewhere...
and after thinking and cursing, I looked on the bright side....1. only 1 mile from home 2. tropical depression coming in and instead of 100 degrees plus, its only 84 outside!!!

What kind of scanner are you using?
No gauges/no OBDII port/no start sounds like fuel bowl heater fuse to me. Don't bother to check the fuse; just pull the wire off the fuel bowl heater, leave it off, and then replace the fuse with a new one. IIRC it's 30A amp at position 116 on the panel. Do not plug the heater wire back on until you get a good look at the heater element to see if it is shorted.
And enjoy the good weather while it lasts.

heater is in the fuel bowl...very common to short out. i think...its a yellow plug in the back of the fuel bowl. i know its in the back...but i think its yellow. i live in the northeast and have had mine unplugged since it shorted...has not caused any cold start problems...even in the winter

The biggest reason to replace the heater is so small frozen particles don;t plug your fuel filter and you don't want a short in the electrical system.
You CAN run without the heater.... but you risk getting stuck with a plugged fuel filter. And in my experience don;t waste your money on an aftermarket heater.

well i unplugged something by the heater beside the IPR solenoid white 2 pronged connector....replaced fuse....gauges came to life cranked and ran for 2 seconds died and blew the fuse again....guess it wasnt the right plug perhaps? only 2 i see in that area around the fuel bowl....the plug and wires looked ok... anyway to check volts/ohms on that system? i have a volt/ohm meter but not very electrically inclined

It is in the very back/bottom of the fuel bowl itself. I can get a pic if needed.
