Well I had the truck up on the rack for an oil change my friend spun the rear axle and said it moved sure enough bushings are shot but I noticed the leaf spring in the front itself almost moves down when going forward and twists up in reverse do springs actually go bad or am I just seeing things?

Either the spring eye bushings are shot, or the pack themselves are weak.
I have not bought springs in a few years but the last time i did it was well under $500 for both packs c/w new bushings and ubolts. fwiw.
I would check the springs and bushings before installing track bars. they will not correct the problem if the other stuff is in disrepair.
