95 f250 5.8 e40dHad the cruise on and stared to brake and it was if I hit "full throtle".Any ideas? What was really scary was I was bringing my male Rottweiler home who just got "neutered". He almost went through the windshield. HE WAS NOT HAPPY!:God Bless :JohnFYI " Yesterday a man killed his wife and self ( WITH A SHOTGUN) in the parking lot at our church outside where the daycare is held. No kids involved, Thank you JESUS!!I truly believe Satan is alive and well and controls these idiots.
How do I keep my "space" between the line I type?

with the dog almost going threw the windshield that sounds like slamming on the brakes ??
hitting the gas would send rover to the rear ! now could it be that you hit the brake and gas at the same time ?? or is this the first time that these things happened ?

CJNope, was on cruise and was getting off the interstate. As soon as I started to brake, instead of the cruise canceling, the engine went full throtle and then I "slammed" on the brakes.John

This happens to me, the brakes still cut the cruise off, but if you brake lightly it isn't enough to trigger the switch. I just always hit the Cruise off button
