best way to mount flags in bed?
So 9/11 is aproaching and my work is having a gathering for military families with special needs kids...
I was wondering how people mount flags in their beds securley so they dont leave on the freeway.
I have a tool box in my bed and could mount them to that or...?

The best that i have seen is a local guy with threaded steel pipe screwed to the floor of the bed mounted toward the tail gate. He has two support wires attached at the top of the pole running to the front stake pockets in the bed. I would also remind that flag protocol requires that the flag not touch the vehicle. Send us a foto. Jag

Here is how I have mine mounted.
Costs $40 at lowes including the flag (albeit a cheap flag).
Steel fence post and associated mounting bracket, 5 bolts, 4 nuts.
"The flag may not touch anything below or beneath it."
Mine will brush the roof of the cab at stop lights. Something I plan on fixing if I can find a 10' pole to replace my current 8'
