Sweltering September In Mississippi Thread

Gonna hit the road in the AM for our late summer vacation. Got a nice big cheap rental house on a spit of Florida sand waiting. Looks like we'll be watching the waves crash & rain blow mostly while having a few drinks, reading, sleeping & eating on our own schedule. You guys in south MS, batten down your hatches although they say that there won't be that much wind (just a lot of rain) unless it sits off shore & spins up.
If I get near a wi-fi conection, I'll try & check in. Otherwise it's all yall's...

Greetings from Bald Point FL. From what I hear, central MS is getting swamped. My dedicated IT specialist (also known as Terri my wife) got us connected by "tethering" laptop to I-phone, along with a change in data plans. Hope everyone is having a good Laborday despite bad weather. This is sunup Sunday.

Thanks guys. The drive down sat was rough. Must have gone through 3-4 heavy thunderstorm bands till we got east of Ft Walton on I-10 & it eased up a bit. That pic from Sunday morning is all the sun we saw untill late Tue afternoon. We hear there was a bunch of flash flooding in Jackson area. I can't imagine what it was like on the MS coast.
Yall take care.

Heading out to the Barrys U Pullit in Mobile tomorrow to see about some goodies for my 74. Hope they've got a good grill and a set of decent lap belts. I'd prefer shoulder belts but I'll take what I can get to get it at least safer than no belts at all.
It'd be even better if I find a factory 4bbl intake for the 390 too.
