Afternoon, or evening all!
I would have been on sooner this month, but we have been dealing with the prairie fires that took off around here! All is well now, but ready to sleep now, lol

Not too bad..just to show you what kind of day it is, I have 3 bathrooms, and the toilet tank valves in two of them need replaced all of a sudden...wait!..there's more!..I don't know when it happened, but the master bath sink is breaking..AND, the cold water side of the main kitchen faucet won't shut off, but fortunatly, I had shut-off valves installed underneath a few years ago, so that is held at bay until after work..(the other kitchen faucets are still ok as we speak)..(knock on wood)...who knows what I'll come home to at lunch! LOL!!

It sounds like you had what's called "Water Hammer" it can occur when either the fire department or water department have a large valve or hydrant open and shut it off with a external valve that stops it immediately not slowly like the screw valve in the hydrant.

You can actually charge back the cost to fix to the town.

Hmmmm...I will check around and see if there was anybody working on the hydrants, etc.
Thank GOD my pool is a stand-alone system!
Thanks for the info!

They might deny it, but you might find neighbors that had the same thing happen, because if it happened to you then it will also affect others.
Don't ask how I know...lol
