Going to start tearing down the generator. The last time it ran under load was during the ice storm in 97. Bought it new and ran it 24 - 7 for 16 days. I have started it once or twice a year since then, but never put it on a load. Now it stalls when you put any kind of load on it. Probably something in the governor I hope.
Have 3 weddings over the next 3 weeks. One in Baaaaaston tomorrow and two in Northern Maine the following two weeks. I guess my one pair of dress up clothes are going to get a work out.

Well, got power back Wednesday night, and worked double-shifts Thursday and Friday, and worked a normal day today. Freaken tired.
Finally started to go to work on my oil pan... It's screwed.
I'll probably get 1, 2 years MAX out of it before it starts to leak through... Freakin salt sux. Not my favored way to end the day. Oh well, I'll keep working at it and get is as clean as I can and paint it Monday or Tuesday and let it sit for a week.
Hopefully the money situation get better ones it dies....and hopefully it happens in summer....

I am off and finishing loading up the bike and gear.
Heading out for another long day of cycling.
I just hope the weather holds true.

Not that we really had a say in the matter, but I was glad they did!
I actually saw a company of them headed out, they had a TON of backhoes, bulldozers, front loaders, and dumps, all loaded up on flatbeds. Kinda cool to see 'em all headed out.
