running boards

Texas, wouldn't in theory of course exploder running boards more or less hook up to our trucks, and Im talking same model year exploders....most the exploders and F-series used interchangeable parts engine wise and some body parts like head lamps and all....grills too...least, what I can remember the exploder grills looked like they could just bolt in place at least...

I've got some. Came off this truck....and all the hardware.
If memory serves me there are 4 attachment points on each side - 2 are tubular brackets welded to the boards and flattened on the end the other 2 are U-shaped brackets, 2 bolts each bracket.
Seems to me a guy could use thin Unistrut for the U-shape replacements (if you know what that is). Used in commercial construction to hang conduit and plumbing pipes. Home Depot or Lowes cheap. Bolts were hex/cap type 3/8"x24.

Honestly, it seems like more of a hassle than they are probably worth - to me anyway. They must weigh 50-60 lbs plus hardware, then the packaging and the shipping, and the running around, etc, etc.
If you lived down the street - I'd sell them in a heartbeat. Wouldn't sell the mounting stuff separate, though.
I'm in Kansas City.
Not to hijack, but I also put some Bushwacker flares on to hide the rust. Look great to me.
