STOLEN in NE Ohio: 2002 F-250
Guys, several F-250's have been reported stolen this past weekend in Lake County.
You can add mine to the list. If anyone sees this truck or any parts of it, please contact your local authorities or hit me up!!!! Taken Monday morning.
Notice Supercab, Longbed, 4x4 - not a really popular combination. Distinctive marks are a dent at top of passenger side bed at taillight and a rust-through hole above driver's side bed wheel well (yeah, common)!!!

Update: I had reached the 3-week time limit so filed for a total loss on the truck. Before that department actually processed it, Cleveland PD found it!!!
Poor girl was missing; tailgate, nerf bars, tires/wheels, battery, brake control box, SCT programmer, jack arms and tire iron and the cat converter was cut off!!! The list goes on...
I went and saw her at the impound lot battered and bruised. Interior trashed (not cut or anything just a bunch of new stains...), dents, dings and scratches on about every panel!! Bulkhead bashed up against the cab, too!!
UGH!!! Will try to post a pic! I wanted to cry!!!!

Dang, sorry to hear about this. My mom had her car stolen from church lot one evening. They just joy rode it, slashed things up and left it a few hours later. It sucks, big time.
I got a call from wife of guy I worked with at the time(she was Canton PD dispatch) as she recognized the name and wanted to know if I needed anything.

Not gonna replace her. Insurance valued it at over 13k and the estimate was 7700 - so they are gonna fix it!!!
From that point on everything has moved in slow motion...
The bed had the typical wheel well rust hole so I offered the bodyshop extra to repair that while they were in there. After some discussion I went on a search for a bed and tailgate. We figured that was the best way to go for the longevity of the truck since I plan to keep her for awhile.
No one had both - they had a tailgate OR they had a bed and the take-off shops are asking WAY too much money. With some diligent searching on Craigslist and a recent trip to both Detroit and Pittsburgh I now have a 2010 tailgate and 2009 bed...
We ordered new wheels/tires, got the battery in and a bunch of other parts - they stole the ring that locks on the air filter housing but left the brand new K&N air filter inside!!!
I will address a few other items while the truck is in the shop but it will be a while yet...

I see this chapter is just buzzin' as usual!!! Just kidding guys!! Anyway, thought I'd give an update on my truck. Final tally: 9700 - and, YES, the repaired it!!!
Every body panel except the two driver's doors received paint including the roof. I also found rust on all of the roof marker lights so that was repaired. As I posted above 2009 bed, 2010 tailgate with "man step" and camera. Raceline Predator wheels, Nitto Trail Grappler M/T's.
They did a great job on the truck!!
First pic is how I found her in the impound lot. New one is showing we're already putting her back to work!!! There are more upgrades planned already and can't wait to get them installed!! Some have already been added like my 2-way paging alarm with remote start (thanks, honey)!!!
