THE QUARTER MILE IS OPEN IN MEMPHIS AGAIN!!!!!

(please make 'sticky')

*I talked to both the "SANDMAN" and one of "HOOKER HOOD'S" nieces today.... *Ms. Jennifer

The Memphis Motorsports Park is now open under a new name:
"MEMPHIS INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY" - and according to the sandman they have a website up under that name dot com listing all the scheduled events.

THE GATE FEES ARE REALISTIC!

The new management is NOT running off the local fans with stupidly greedy admission prices

TEST and TUNE is on tuesday and thursday nights - admission is FIVE BUCKS!!!!

"Let the good times roll again..."

Sandman told me they had a recent event that was TOP FUEL and the gate fee was kindee high...

FIFTEEN DOLLARS

Yeah - it's lookin' just like that!

~And we both agreed on this point:
"You chase away the fans because they cain't afford it - and there goes racing because they pay for the JACKPOT, don't they?..."
*LESSON LEARNED*

"Now we cookin' with GAS in Memphis town agin!"

(EARLIER STORY FROM FEBRUARY) CHECK THIS OUT!!!

SO!

Who wants to go racing, or see it right out in front of you - with all that noise and smoke................................

(From what Sandman said - there have already been four major events)

AS soon as I can locate a schedule of events it will be RIGHT HERE!
(Unless somebody beats me to it)

~ I'm lookin' hard...
