*I talked to both the "SANDMAN" and one of "HOOKER HOOD'S" nieces today.... *Ms. Jennifer
The Memphis Motorsports Park is now open under a new name:
"MEMPHIS INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY" - and according to the sandman they have a website up under that name dot com listing all the scheduled events.
THE GATE FEES ARE REALISTIC!
The new management is NOT running off the local fans with stupidly greedy admission prices
TEST and TUNE is on tuesday and thursday nights - admission is FIVE BUCKS!!!!
"Let the good times roll again..."
Sandman told me they had a recent event that was TOP FUEL and the gate fee was kindee high...
Yeah - it's lookin' just like that!
~And we both agreed on this point: "You chase away the fans because they cain't afford it - and there goes racing because they pay for the JACKPOT, don't they?..."
Hey SCOTT! Wanna run your truck? I'll crew for ya. Damned right I will - just gimme a burger once in a while with some fries and a soda....
OH AND OH YEAH....
