working GTG
I was texting with Jimmyv13 last night and he has a couple suspension issues. Easy fixes, just need him to gather a few parts.
Need to figure out another date and place (probably at Jimmy's) to help him do a little wrenching on his truck. It's easy stuff, this is more of an excuse to get together and have a couple beers. But it's going to be a front leveling block and rear 4" blocks along with a replace of a leaf in the pack that is broken.
Might be something that we could do at my place, as I have 3 floor jacks, torches, electric impact, etc..........
We should be able to do front and rear in a matter of 3-4 hours. Who wants to come out and play with some suspension stuff with me.....and Jimmy

I would have to know what day. It sucks working every weekend.
I need a GTG so I can do me regulated return line and tank mods.
I plan on taking the last weekend of September into October off. 29th-2nd off. With that I have my 3 regular days off before and after. My total days off will be 26th-5th.

maybe we can get em all done the same day.....
Would like to see about getting it before the big GTG. but packing and moving, then the fall show in Suburban Showplace. Hoping to find a weekend to make it happen. Also need to make sure Jimmy has his parts gathered.
Your in more need of a few hands more than anything correct?

The week I take off will be busy, but willing to help were I can.
Painting both kids room since they will be out of town with thier mother. Day 1 gone.
Softball that Wednesday night.
Going to try and paint the rocker panels, and finish off the bushwacker project.
Having only 1 vehicle sucks when you want to work on it.

Hey Rich, thanks for gettin' after this for me!
This would be a great opportunity for a few guys to get together and work on a few trucks. I would like to get this broken spring taken care of soon as I will need tires before the snow flies and bow season is fast approaching.
Unfortunately, my garage is not well equipped to work on these big trucks. Rich has graciously offered his space and tools...this is my first diesel, so I'm kinda new to this stuff.

I found this kit on fleabay:
FORD F250 SUPER DUTY LEVELING LIFT KIT 2.5" 2005-2008 | eBay
Any thoughts or comments? The front level kit is different than most I've seen since the spacer goes under the spring and attaches to the axle. The spacers I've dealt with all have been designed to mount above the spring. Is all of that stuff necessary??? Most front level kits come with just a spacer that mounts to the top and you're done....I'm assuming this one is different as the spacer mounts on the axle. What's the difference, any advantages?
The rear kit looks like it comes with everything...carrier bearing spacer and new u bolts.

Price point looks ok, but if you read into the description it says patent pending. Which leads me to believe this is a new company trying to make it into the industry of aftermarket. Who knows how durable those brackets are that they are making and if they will interfer with other components. I'm sure, or hope they have been tested before advertisement.
You buy them, and we will help out if timing is right.
