I used to build houses but then the Goldman Sacks thought it a good idea to securitize a bunch of mortgages written to part time minimum wage earners and resell them as triple A bonds.

Congrats on ROTW, but the engine bay??

Yep, definitely a nice 53 Efy, but the engine bay is not kosher.

As xran has already said, it's a pic of a Ford XY GT engine bay, but I think it's a 71 not a 70 model. About mid 1970, Ford Australia went from Windsor to Cleveland 351s, so as that is a clevo, I'd say it's odds on a 71. But why was it used to determine ROTW? Definitely the wrong bay.
The shock/spring towers and engine bay shape, should have been a dead getaway that it wasn't a 53 Efy.

Having said all that though,,, it really is a nice truck. Lottsa work, skun knuckles and dough too Ill bet.

As a past winner, I welcome Paul to the Aussie ROTW club,,,lol.

Hope to catch up with you somewhere.

Cheers, Ron.
