Chris do you have any bumps at Jim's yard? I need a small section of the stone shield.

You putting on a new cab?

He has a couple. I'll check and see what's available.

There's a guy in the US who says he'll send me what I need early next week but we'll see what happens with that. I'm doing a tucked roll pan up front.

And yes I am putting on a new cab. Mine's rotted around the drip rail. I'll probably end up piecing the two together.

So are you looking for the whole thing or just wanting a good piece you can graft in there?

Can you even do that?

I need a little 2-3" wide piece (even that's more than I need) and ideally I'd also like a couple bits to fill the frame notches on the stone shield. I can always make them myself but using OEM body lines makes life much easier.

And yes I can do that. I'm doing all the bodywork and the paint on my truck. I'll let the pictures do the talking. Here's a rocker panel I made.

Looks good. Makes me want to get started on some bronco stuff.

I'll take my camera, that way you can see what I find.

Colour doesn't matter. I just want something not rusty. To tuck the front end I'm going to have to cut it across the length of the stone shield, but because it's tapered where it meets the fender, when I move it in it won't be wide enough. I'll have to cut the stone shield in the middle and insert a small piece to widen it. That's what I need it for. So if there's a bump in his yard with a crappy and otherwise useless stone shield that happens to have a really nice section that's a few inches wide, I'd appreciate getting that little piece.

A dent side would be the same I would think. What do you think?

Doesn't look like it in that picture. I'll look at one though. See what I find.

Sorry to say I couldn't find anything that was decent that wasn't on a complete truck. I did discover that the dent is part of the grill where the bump it is a separate piece and not shaped the same.

A couple beat up grills but since the pan is separate there are none that I could find.

Alrighty, thanks for looking. I struggled to pull mine off today. Had to pull out the grinder.
