1995 T-bird 4.6 died HELP!!!

1995 T-bird 4.6 died HELP!!!

so my mom was driving going around a corner and it died then came back, but the next corner it dies and now wont start it will turn over but no start can smell fuel so i know its got fuel and air. so im thing ignition system what does it sould like to yall?
need any and all ideas please help its her only car.

Check the crank position sensor, and the wiring. It's located on the passenger side of the engine, down low next to the A/C compressor, installed in the timing cover. With the age that car has on it, I would not be surprised if the harness was dry-rotted or damaged from fluid leaks causing a short circuit or poor connection on the sensor. It could also just be a bad sensor. If there is no CKP signal, then there is no spark. With a '95 model, there is also an external EDIS module on the passenger side of the firewall next to the airbox that has been known to fail and cause a loss of spark or sporadic operation of the ignition system..
