my 4.9 straight six continues to high idle and i cannot pinpoint the issue causing it. whenever i plug in my battery i can hear the electronic idle motor push out it change the idle speed. however it never retracts unless you leave the battery unplugged for an amount of time! would this be an issue with the idle motor itself?
also, if i leave my battery plugged in my battery will die, perhaps this is also tied in with the idle motor. any help is appreciated! thanks!
