dana 44 oil

what brand and weight gear oil are yall using in the stock dana 44 from a '77 bronc?

Lucas 80w-90w in everything except for the automatic transmission if you have one. Both differentials, transfer case and manual tranny. And yes, I know it calls for 50w motor oil in the transfer case.

Don't know yer geographic area - if cold (10*) I'd use 30W, hot 50W.
Don't know yer vehicle use - mine is a wrker in swamp, hills and forest (I'll B skidding out whatever the 'cane topples) so use the 30.
Richard may B onta something there tho...

I used valvoline 80w, with black RTV for cover. Changing out body mount bushings, and man what a pain, got one more to go
