Not going to happen in the foreseeable future (i.e. next 5 years at least). The one guy that pushed to get the F-trucks in Oz that worked at FoMoCo left, and once the Brazil deal dried up they were hoping to build them in Mexico (which would have been good, because then the models would have stayed up to date with the US ones) - Brazil moved onto a "*******ized" version of the old F-Truck's we got, with the 4BT Cummins powering them, and probably wouldn't have worked well in Oz.

The biggest hope is Mexico wanting to produce them (they pulled out late last time when production finished in Brazil) and someone in FoMoCo Aus having some interest in pursuing it. KTP has no interest in RHD production with the couple of hundred units a month that would be sold between Aus/NZ, and after doing the Cobra conversions I don't think anyone has an interest in doing that again...

Think of it as keeping the resale on your trucks strong

OH well, looks like I will have to fly over your way, pick one up and convert it over here. Theres a financial guru over here stating that the little Aussie battla will hit 1.70 US by 2014. That would work real good for me

These trannies take a special PTO Muncie Power Products » FR/FA SERIES Power Take-Off it is a very odd bolt pattern and is not the same as the standard 6 bolt! It makes things very expensive for the PTO setup not to mention you have to have the Ford PTO control module which is $$$$ if not obsolete already. Ford went back to the normal 6 bolt pattern starting in late 03 when the new 5 speed came out.

JW should be able to find you a core easy!! They are a dime a dozen! Reviva , Jasper and LKQ all have cores they will sell to the public!
