Hey there. Let's see if we can't at least get you a bonded title so that you have at least some protection from these guys. As I recall from our conversation, you paid them a fair price as they asked. They need to get their act together and either give your money back or give you the title. I have a lot of friends in the courthouse here (including the sheriff). Let me know if I can help. In the meantime, don't throw another dime at that truck until you get something squared away. Did they give you a bill of sale at least?

 

hey doc , yea i gave one of them 2,000 for the truck in buckets and took three trips to get it all home while the other brother was holding on to the title saying it has been junked.and never got any bill of sale or reciept. spent 6 months on and off doing the frame ,sandblasting and repainted it with por 15. the bad thing is that i sold the y block and trans and all that stuff that came with the truck to a guy in tennessee. and i built a nice roller 302 and a aod trans . i have several thousand $ invested in this mess now. they have the title for the truck and said they did but never offered it to me . said it had been junked in 1996 . one of them done it to get back at the other brother that had the truck. not sure in kentucky if a title can be unjunked or not im going to go see danny (the sheriff) this week and see what he says . if i could find a vin tag and a clear title same year i would go that route and be done with them. WHAT A MESS
