Got a 92 f150 with 5.0 5 speed 4x4 xlt. I have been searching everywhere for some wiring diagrams for the under dash wiring. Maybe someone here would know. Under the dash on the driver side there is bundle of 6 wires they have had the ends cut off(I'm assuming there was a plug on the end of it at on time) The wires are color coded as follows 2 green wires, 1 purple with a yellow stripe, 2 red with blue stripe,and 1 grey with yellow stripe. The grey with yellow stripe is twisted into 1 of the green wires. And the 2 red with blue stripes are twisted together. The remainder of the wires just hang there. Anyone have any idea where these wires hook to. I would like them hooked up properly. I want to thank you ahead of time for any help or advise you can give.

 

Brake controller for towing...sounds like someone cut the wires when they removed it, instead of unplugging it.

Double check the wire colors at the plug by the hitch...i'm sure you'll find they are the same colors
