6.0 PSD Oil pressure switch blow out!!!
Just replaced the HPOP seals and the o-rings under the valve covers that cause the no start issue when hot, also did an EGR delete kit. got done drove down street, noticed slight boost increase. Truck felt as thought it wasn't getting enough air or fuel and almost like it needed another gear. I went about a mile and all of asudden pressure dropped, got back and oil was pouring out of switch. replaced it, checked all connections and went again. Everything was fine, drove about 60 miles towing this AM and same thing happened, felt like it didn't have enough air/fuel again under heavy load, hard acceleration ( 20-25 PSI of boost)?????? PLEASE HELP stuck right now.
Thanks for any help.

I replaced the fitting on the HPOP with the updated one in the kit. It does have a regulator. Had it towed to my friend @ Ford last night. I'm a mechanic, but not a big diesel guy, I tow all day fore work so I need it fixed ASAP I borrowed a truck. I'm waiting on a call from them. I will post a detailed explanation of what I did and the solution tonight.
Thanks for the info and welcome.

O.K. Ford has no clue what is wrong. They installed a new oil pressure sensor and oil, ran it and it was ok. They proceeded to install a pressure gauge and take readings, pressure @ 90 psi @ 1800 rpm. No explanation why, new sensor did not blow in their possession. ford told them to install a sending unit (waste of time & money) Ford Tech. has no answer?? The saga continues...
