There seems to be more than one application.
Does your A.I.R. pump have a 90* outlet, or just a short tube?
Can you make out the ID number on the side, or post a pic?
It must have been past bedtime when I posted that, because I mistakenly put "air" compressor instead of A/C compressor.

I fixed the post, sorry to get your hopes up Jim. I wish I'd have seen this thread when I was doing work on the truck over the summer. My truck had an untouched (and AFAIK, working) emissions system, including the dual air pumps, all with only 97k miles on them. Regrettably, I tossed them in the rubbish, I figured everyone else took theirs off and did the same.

It does have the tab broken, but between 1994 when I bought the truck and 2012 when I changed to EFI, I never had a problem with either the valve or plug. If you want it, it's here with me and still attached to the harness.

Thank you very much for the offer, but after thinking about it further, I'm going to try and come up with what I hope will be a more robust fuel delivery system. I'm going to get a pair of the solenoids in the attached pictures for fuel tank switching duties. When I swapped out the fuel pumps recently the harnesses to them didn't look so good, so I intend on fabricating new replacements for those as well. This probably won't happen unril next spring though...With winter coming I'd better hurry up and work on my truck-cab's leak issues so I can put the interior back in it.

If its cylindrical and has the A/C line hookups on the end, it's a Sanden. If its large and boxy and has the hookups on the top or side, it's a York style. Also the tag would tell you if it still has one. If its a York, I'm interested.

If you want the whole rear harness, I will be glad to send it. NAPA has the tank 4 pin plugs, you might have to tel them 87 to actually find them.

There's no mistaking that it has the hookups on top, or side. It's difficult to tell if they're on the top without the compressor in the truck, but I remember them coming off the top. The end is nice and flat with a Ford logo stamped in it. I see a couple markings with random (part?) numbers, but no brand.

Odd thing is, is that the shape is about as cylindrical as they get, which doesn't quite match your description.

I'll take a pic when I get home later this afternoon.

Does this photo shed some light on the manufacturer / compressor type?

Yeah that's a Sanden style.
A York looks like this

This may seem a little strange, but I want to try something. I have never mastered posting photos, etc., so will try to describe a few items I have accumulated and see if there is any interest. A few forum members have had dealings with me and know I am a man of my word.

It is difficult to place a fair value on some items, so what I am offering is to trade for ???. PM me and I will promptly respond.

My truck is a 1986 F150 with 4.9L engine. Overall, it is in good shape and really needs nothing, but we all are open to upgrading!

Off hand, if someone was local [I live in the northwest corner of the state of AL], I would gladly trade for exhaust system replacement. I might be interested in a Motorcraft 2100 carburetor with 2/1 intake manifold adapter or a OEM thick padded steering wheel [w/o cruise buttons], or ??? Oh, yeah, I also like older [pre decal] automotive license plates.

Here is what I have in storage:

(4) OEM argent colored 8 spoke steel rims. These are 15" X 7" and I might have the trim rings as well as the center caps. They are sound, but need to be repainted.

(4) OEM aluminum rims [bullet holes] which need to painted rather than restored. They are in sound condition, but have been sanded and two have been painted. They are 15" X 7 1/4" and again, I believe I have the center caps, if needed.

Lastly, I have windshield visor [Lund]. It is in good shape, but the clearcoat is peeling. Currently, the color is red. Included would be the mounting hardware. This came off a 1994 F350 and should fit 1980-1996 F150/F250/F350 and Broncos of the same era. I am attaching a link to one currently on ebay for illustration puropses. I believe mine is in a little better shape.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1980-1996-Ford-truck-F-150-F250-F350-Fullsize-Bronco-LUND-Truck-Cab-Visor-FB2-/181166289240?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2a2e5a3158&vxp=mtr#ht_1230wt_1133
These items are either heavy or bulky, so local members might be easier to trade with.

Moderators, I hope this is okay. Thanks!

PM me, if interested. Thanks! 1986F150six [David]

Next best thing to free is to trade. Our distances apart would be a killer, though!

This was a good idea but it's just not gonna work in a forum...

- People don't maintain/update their ads (e.g. delete when item no longer available)

- Lots of chit-chat and Q&A makes for clutter that's irritating to wade through and takes time for me to delete
