They're not being reproduced. I see them pop up on eBay from time to time in nice shape. The typical price for one with decent chrome seems to be $75-$100.
I tried to have mine powder coated and the guy ruined it with the blasting. Put a bunch of holes in it and tried to give it back saying that was normal. If anybody has an extra in good shape I would buy it.
Maybe yours isn't really ruined. You can fill the holes with JB Weld, sand smooth, then have it powder coated. I've done this on nasty old wheels and it works great. The powder coat sticks good, and cheap too. Stu

Yes. IIRC, the JB package says up to 600 degrees. The powder coater said they bake at 400 degrees. Probably should check the package and ask powder coater up front. Different shops might use different baking temps. There is also another product sold through Eastwoods, called Lab Metal, that does the same job. Two shops I asked said to just use JB. Stu
