lol brother... still good in my book!!

Here is a better shot of the mount so I can throw a flag on (any flag) quickly easily and securely. Many of the events around here require them because of dunes etc. I just like mine big!

So to the critic of my flag etiquette please relax.

No, I just hate seeing vehicles with a ripped up flag whipping in the wind, it is disrespectful. You can remove the banner, or don't, makes no difference to me, just curious, when you meet someone in person who makes the same statement I did, you gonna jump all over him too, I'm just curious?
AH, I see, I'm disabled, I point out something that bothers many people and I'm a pissed off disabled person?

Did not mean to offend you. I have had too many experiences with those grumpy, pissed off, "I dont need help, I will get the door myself", bitter, people with disabilities... Because...
I am in a wheelchair too.....

However,

I am just in a situation that requires some cool equipment that not everybody else needs!

I had the benefit of being raised by a quadriplegic mother, and I grew up to be her caretaker until my accident. It was a situation that made me appreciate what abilities I still had (both arms, sharp mind, social skills, and creative genius) Oddly enough I dont have many disabled friends because disability is a mindset I cant grasp.

My apologies again, I would never make a disrespectful comment to a blind man since I have not walked in his shoes.

...and to answer your first question... Yes, I am the same person I am in the forums or in the real world. I will tell you what I think, and if I dont like what you have to say, well its your opinion your welcome to it.

1st towing adventure with the van

This weekend we finally went camping and used the van to pull our camper. Our camper is a 28" weighing approx 6500 pounds loaded with a tongue weight of around 900 pounds.

The V10 pulled great and it was better to see not using as many RPMs that I used to use in our 03 Expedition with the 5.4.

I definitely want to consider getting a RAS system but not sure when.

The dogs even liked the big open rear cargo area (due to the Chateau seating arrangement).

Plus with having the short area in front of the front wheels, we were able to get our camper into its storage spot rather easily. The more I looked at it, if we would have bought an Excursion I am not sure how many tries it would have taken us to get the van back into the spot.

So overall, happy with our recent purchase of this van. Seat covers and a good wash and wax are coming up.

Really hoping I can sell my Superchips Cortex programmer (since they do not cover the vans) and get a 5 star!

ENERGY ABSORBING BUMPER

Gotta protect the conversion. The leaf spring shackles are scary close to factory bumper. So I am attempting to engineer my own impact absorbing bumper. Before it was "capped off" with the aluminum (my friend donated) Expanding foam was used to fill all open areas. pics to follow in a few minutes

I don't know about you.... but if someone was to hit you hard enough to make it's way to the leaf springs shackles...I think the van would be a write off.

I know you are trying to be funny, but adamantium is light, it's unobtanium that is extremely heavy.
