Are 239 and 272 Yblock intakes the same?I

I had a guy call me that cracked his intake manifold on his 54 OHV. I have a 272 intake I can send him but I'm not sure it will work if the ports on the manifold are bigger than his 239 heads. Does anybody here know?

I believe they're different, James.Many things are different between the 239 and all succeeding Y-blocks.But to be sure,I'd post this question in the Y-bock section of FTE.Good luck.

272 intake manifold is not the same, and there are several different 272 intake manifolds for cars and trucks.
