I'm at it again...New Purchase

Well...just picked up this little rust free gem....1977 F-150 Super Cab...with 300-6 and 4 speed trans....AZ Truck...so NO RUST....body will be used for my SC Long bed 4x4...another body i have will be going back on it and friend is buying from me....any utah guys out there with a dual tank long bed in fair shape? Rust is ok as long as it's not falling apart...and it has to have fuel doors.

Buddy will get this cab and front clip on that frame...just need to locate a fair bed for it.

I know what you mean. I'm in the Indy area too, and that truck would've never gone that cheaply here.

Hahaha yes, and some guys have a really loose definition of "rust free" around here. I've had a wasted trip or two because the phrase "rust free" in the ad should actually be "slightly fewer gaping rust holes than my chevy."

I got mine rust free, but it also was originally an Arizona truck. But like this one 900 running strong. Great find and grab!

They are tough to find in Utah this clean....I'd get em from AZ or CA...but the problem is...it's too expensive to pay someone to bring one back for me...and it's too expensive to buy fuel to drive down to get one...lol

It's all part of the journey, mine was in AR brought it to CA where I was stationed, next to TX where home is and drove her all the way to WI. I still only have about $3500 total into the truck (not including spare parts laying around). Not saying that everyone can do that or wants to just thought it was fun and puts more into the truck then just labor.
