Hey fellas, I'm trying to remove my front sheet metal from my 56 f100. I understand everything that has to come off except for the cowl bolts, like how many are there and where are they. I can see bolts coming through the back of the fenderwell but cant see the heads on the other side. I need to get at my rocker panels to do some welding so I'd like to get it all off. Any diagrams or pics would be of great help. Thanks!

I use my parts catalog to see where everything is hidden ,and it will show you what is on top of what for the last bolt you don't see..I'm pulling my 54 apart this winter..that's why I'm looking at catalogs..

I havent personally removed a front end intact but have heard there are 11 bolts holding the front end on. If I had to guess I would say 3 are around or close to the radiator support along the front and maybe 4 on fender at the rear including the bolt mounting the fender to the running board. I would imagine someone who has done this will be along soon to help. This article may be of some help as well.
