The 6.7 broke the land speed record

It beat the old diesel record, and it blew the doors off the old biofuel record.

I hope this link works:

50% more power from the stock motor, just fuel and air/exhaust mods. Makes you wonder how far can Ford push the output on this motor to pummel the competition. Very cool.
And they just had to use one that's UPS brown. Ya know, they make other cool colors like SILVER!!!

You maroon.. thats maroon. UPS brown is golden, not red

Cool though. Note how low it is and how close the front air dam is to the ground. I've been wanting to get my air dam dropped down close to the ground for less air resistance. Not real sure how to do it just yet, my previous method with edge molding didn't work.

I wonder if they put any support behind that air dam, I have nearly ripped mine off several times, last week I had to stick some fender washers in there or else mine was going to fall off. the other thing I noticed is I think the truck could have gone faster, cover up the gaping hole in the front bumper, some tape on the grill too.

Gavin, thanks for asking. The little guy gets his full cast off on the 29th to free up his elbow, and then gets re-casted around the wrist/forearm for another 4-6 weeks we think. We had to slow him down today at school. After the wife dropped him off for his first full day, she attended the PTA meeting and then saw him at recess trying to climb the #%$^ monkey bars and running around the playground! LOL Little chit wants to break every bone in his body. We had to call the school to make sure they do not let him run and go on equipment etc and of course, talk to the little man again.

That's not real surprising though. SPARTAN has a tune that adds 200 HP that doesn't require other supporting mods. This is with the stock fuel system and no engine upgrades. Tuned 6.4L trucks are making 560+ RWHP with just an aftermarket air intake and tuner.

The limiting factor for the 6.7L engine is the turbo, as it's not capable of the 41 PSI the 6.4L system is capable of. With a larger turbo and upgraded fuel system I'm willing to bet that they were being conservative with only 600 HP.

Actually, if you look close, the picture of the truck on the track, you can only see silver on the front bumper, no black areas.

Good eye! I'm thinking he has an air bag suspension because on the left pic you can see the right front tire under the airdam, and on the right pic I couldn't slide a paper clip under it.

Well, you need to remember the original picture of the left. There is a parachute pulling like heck on the back of the truck, thus changing the character of the level of the truck too.

Just think how fast he would have gone if he wasn't pulling a stupid parachute....
