Thanks for any help!
This is where I would start. You're on the right path.

Well now that it's warm enough to get under the truck I got back to this today. When I tried to align the neutral safety switch using the drill bit through the hole thing I ran into a snag... The place where the bit passed through all the disks and should of shown the proper alignment was so high that the bolts couldn't thread in.

So I tried to set it as close as the switches adjustment range allows. No luck. I now can't start in P, N, or D. Any ideas? I jumped the solenoid and it started right up in park. Fresh batteries.

So I'm looking to just by pass the NSS now. I would like to put in a deadmans switch as mentioned in this thread. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ty-switch.html

I just wanna make sure I'm doing this right before I go cutting and joining wires haha.

My NSS has 4 wires: purple/orange, red, and two black/red. From what I've read the two black/red are my back up lights. So I think should be joining the red and black/red through a switch in the cab. Is this right?

Unfortunately all the threads that had pictures no longer do and I'm struggling to find a wiring diagram to refer to...

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Just wanted to update with success. To bypass a C6 neutral safety switch just connect the two red/blue wires together either with a jumper pin on the female side or by wiring the two together on the NSS side. Hopefully this will get picked up by Google and keeps people like me from asking simple questions that I'm sure you all groan about.

Wired up a deadman's switch after figuring out what I was connecting and now I can finally start in park. So nice to not be starting in drive all the time.
