What is required to upgrade to Nav 09 f-250

I have a 09 f-250 with a factory 6 disc changer, satellitte radio, sync system, and rear camera. I recently purchased an OEM navigation unit on ebay. What additional parts (i.e. gps antenna, wiring harnesses, splitters) will I need to ensure the unit and all the accessories operate as they are meant to?

I see on the ford parts list a gps/FM antenna as well as a gps/FM antenna splitter. Do I need these items or are they already installed with the current factory system?

How difficult is this change over?

I did the same to my 08. All you have to do is get a oem navigation radio and plug everything in. The plugins should match. The only thing you will need is the GPS antenna. I used velcro to place my antenna to the left of the rear of the nav unit out of the way and it went perfect. It should be plug and play. Taking the dash off is easy. Just snap the two little squares out. There's a single screw behind them. Take that screw out (2 total) and then you can snap the whole dash piece out. Take your time. There are 4 screws holding the radio in. Take them out. pull the radio straight out, unplug the plugs. Then plug your mount your gps antenna inside the dash. After that plug everything straight into the oem nav unit. They will match. Slip the oem Nav radio back in and put the 4 screws back in. Snap the dash back. Put in the last 2 screws and snap the little squares back. Voila!! Your done.

Just rereading your post. You didn't say what year the Nav unit came out of. I don't think the superduty 08 nav units had sync. Mine didn't. You might need a 09 or newer radio to have all your features work.
