How many miles are on your 7.3?

How many miles do you have on your original 7.3 engine. Not rebuilt.

I'll start first.
95 7.3 531,645 mi
02 7.3 125,156 mi

My uncle bought my 95 brand new and used it for hot shot hauling cross country. He sold it to me with 490,000 mi on it for $1500. I use it as a work truck to haul materials. 20mpg highway and no smoke what so ever.

193,000 and counting. Owned since 190,000. Engine is stock. PO had all service and work done on it at a Ford Dealership. My hope is that this will be my "final" truck.

I can get 20+ mpg highway with mine, no smoke when it's on the stock setting... plenty when it's turned up with the Stage I's fueling it!

As long as I don't wreck it or it isn't made illegal to own in the future this will be my last truck. Once the engine quits it'll be cheaper to rebuild it than to buy another truck...

Mine is at 389,000 and change as of now. It could be 489,000 or more though since the Odo rolls back from 399,999.9 to 300,000.0. Given the shape of the body on mine, it wouldn't surprise me if it were 589,000! When time and money allow, I plan to slowly start rebuilding the truck's body and make it into my dream truck.

I love this thing though and hope to have it a long time. It will take me a long time to rack up a lot more mileage on this thing since my commute to work (the truck is my DD) is only 8 miles.

Only way I would sell it would be to get another CCLB like it in a little better condition.

What trucks does the od roll over on. I've never heard of that, and I know quite a few people with obs. Mines still reading. My friend hunter has 400k++ on his. No od descrepency. My first truck an excursion 6.0 my bud I sold it to just blew the motor with 390,000 on it. Od worked fine.

So your '95 with the digital odo actually reads 531k? There was a pretty extensive thread here several months ago that said they roll back to 300k, but I would love for that to be wrong.

Mine reads 531k when the fuse is good. It blows the fuse about every 2000 miles for some reason
