Now that is pretty cool! I have seen one at 700,000, and one just over 500,000. Those kind of mileages are a true testament to what strict maintenance and taking care of these trucks will get you!

I probably won't see that many miles ever on the welding truck. But with the low miles it has I really like to keep up on everything. The antifreeze didn't look bad at all, but I wanted to get the sca coolant in there.

I'm curious, with mileage like that on his truck, I know maintenance is a given, but what kind of major repairs has he had into it? If it's a slushbox that's at least, what 4 transmissions? Has he ever been inside the engine?

I wouldn't call it showroom since I do use it but it's pretty nice. Especially the interior.

There are more pics of my mods and stuff in my album.

I think that you should call it showroom, . That Green Beast is georgeous (spl?), with a lot of good mods. Congrats. I hope you enjoy it every day. Yes sir!

It is wan automatic truck that is hooked to a trailer 24-7. The trans has been don't ONCE at about 150k. He typically is to towing heavy loads, mostly around the 5-7k mark and he is a 65 year old guy

I know of one 96 that I work on regularly that has 232K on the factory auto trans, it primarily is a daily driver with around 5-600 pounds of tools in the bed, but it does see a 32 foot camper now and then.
The stock auto in my truck made it to 141K before it puked and the truck was ZF converted.
My stock tranny lasted until about 1000 miles ago. Has 250k and some change. Rebuilt by procision transmission in Joshua TX, 3yr/36k warranty. Now about to start seeing some regular towing with my new job in about a month. New tranny and ford CPS, drives like an entirely different truck!

340,000 hard, tortured miles. Before I had it it pulled a job site trailer at just over 10,000 lbs and 2 200 gallon fuel cells in the bed. It was hooked to that trailer in 1996 and unhooked when I bought it in 2011 with 240,000. I have hauled as much as 14000 on my 2000 lb trailer with 4000 in the bed 10 tons. These 7.3's are amazing for the abuse they can take.

I have 570,100 on my 7.3, I've had her since 2001 and she only had 18 miles on her, and on top of that she is still on the road today with absolutely no work done to her! She is running just like I got her!

805,xxx miles and counting and on stock tranny . Maintenance is key and, a large trans cooler, and stock tunning for 730,xxx and hpop oil changes every oil change, they do work. A few injector changes, fuel pumps and sensors have been it.

Mine is at 280k with stock tranny, at least the same for the last 150k miles since I've had it.

280K on my 97 CCLB 4x4. Had 131k when I purchased it 13 years ago. For you guys getting 19-22 mpg, I applaud you. On a good day, the best I can get is about 15. Not exactly sure why that is.
