534 engine help

534 engine help

Is the 534 a ford engine? if so will it fit into a 3/4 ton truck? where can i find this engine? any info about the engine is helpfull...i dont know anything about this engine and never heard about it until now and would like to know more about it

534 is a Ford, one of the Super Duty engines intro'd in the late '50s:

It will fit in the bed just fine to take it to the scrap yard, or, if running properly, to sell to someone trying to restore his firetruck.

You can make it fit in a PU as the motive power, but it would be a colossal waste of time, energy and money. Try not to vomit reading this:

What he said. no way to get more than 6mpg no power, to heavy, a NA 7.3 will blow it's doors off..unless it is a restored fire truck..
