Superduty fuel in a obs

I going to be doing just that all parts were free

1. Will the stock rubber fuel line hold up or will I have to change them.
2. Can I hook the two return lines together to make a FPXmso I don't have to have the fuel dead head on the fuel rail
3. Is the gasket on the HPOP res. reusable cause I have to change the res. cause the SD fuel bowl has two bolts that run trough it to mount the bowl

Change all the rubber lines and get a new gasket. But I don't think you can run the res gasket with a filter screen.

The most important part will be getting the right gasket and reservoir. If you put the wrong gasket in there (it's like an o-ring so yes it's re-useable most of the time) it can crack the front cover when you tighten it down. There was a change in the groove and the gasket that fits into it, so those parts aren't interchangeable.

I've never had to change the stock rubber fuel line on my SD, and that includes many miles of running various blends of bio.

Why are you changing fuel bowls? Why not just switch to an electric pump and be done with it?

Leave the HPOP rez alone and either fab a bracket for the SD bowl or put filters on the frame rail. I'd put some filters on the rail pre and post pump. The filter bases aren't that much and the bracket isn't too hard to make.

If that's the only other filter your going to add in, I'd put in a 2 micron filter. The stock filter is only like 25 micron IIRC.
