Since you are in the UK I have seen a few threads putting a Jag IFS under the nose. Might make your search/project easier to accomplish.

Just read thru your thread nice mods you have done, 460 is a great engine I have a 466 in my 64. You can buy a nice set of wheels form american muscle that should bolt right on to your wheel pattern and they are a 18" wheel, I have them on my truck as well but I had to use adapters, and they are a good price. Keep the updates coming.

I don't suppose it would be too bad if it were broken down into pieces and sent over time.

Let me know if there is anything I can do. I have an account with FedEx and could work with you.

It is a 1967 aluminum grille (factory) with the verticals painted black.

Great post and well documented. I have the same IRS set up as you with disc brakes, also have a Fatman's IFS, if I had to do it again I would do the CV swap and save a bunch of money. Anyway it's been a couple of years and now I'm getting around to the parking brake. Did you hook up yours? I think the disc setup in a little more involved and the Mark VIII/ TBirds had a lot of troubles with the parking brakes during those years. I'm leaning towards the Wilwood disc set up with the internal parking brakes. What the heck it's only money. Your thoughts and ideas are appreciated. Thanks Phil

If used on a regular basis and not 2-3 times a year, the tbird caliper isn't an issue. It's when the parking brake is rarely used, when it doesn't hold well or requires an extreme throw of the lever to hold. 94+ mustang uses the same kind, and my automatic car has terrible parking brake, never used, and my manual car has excellent parking brake.
If you already have disk brakes for the rear, I'd just use them.

But, it's only money. Wilwood is nice stuff. I'm putting the parking brake puck calipers on my 94 mustang. 13.5" rotors and 6piston calipers on front and 12.6" rotors with 4piston calipers on rear, I thought about parking brake after the fact. Oops.
One of my trucks I'm going to use a disk brake d60 from a superduty van, and going to use 8bolt adaptors for the CV front. Should be pretty cool. I was told to look into cobra rotors and caliper brackets for front as an upgrade. I'm still researching that.
