I bought a Dana 44 outta of a 79 f250 for $200. A guy said he would buy my old axle for $300. My old axle is outta 69 f250 so it's closed knucle and drum. It sounds like I'm getting a pretty good deal.

$200 for the 79 axle was an average deal, but $300 for an old basically junk axle is good enough to offset the cost and make an average deal into an awesome deal. you're walking away with a better axle and a $100, so yep, good deal.
