Post 116. The grille on the Chevy truck is a 1957 (the wide opening in the middle was '57 only) but the hub caps are 1955-56. The '57s had larger painted slots going around the cap. Still totally awesome Chevs and building. So so neat !!!!!
Surprised no one took a pic of the last surviving Whiting Bros station in Moriarty, NM. Anyone who's from out west and can remember before 1990 knows they were a large regional chain out there for many years. When I passed thru Moriarty in June, the pump hoses were taken off so it may no longer be operating now but the building is in great shape.l

My father on left my uncle on right. Retired in 1977 sold to my high

of. 2yrs ago I restored that Willard Fast Charger & glad I did cause we
do a lot of 6vt cars trucks and tractors..
Here's one in my former home town, Glen Ellyn IL. It appears to be in the 40's. The Mobilgas lighthouse was there in the early 60's when we moved there. Anyone who lives up there now, this is looking west from Park Blvd and Roosevelt Rd (IL 38). You wouldn't believe what it looks like now!
