A little more done today
I used white paint with artists brushes on the script I got from Abe from his earlier model hood. They shouldn't be called artists brushes when I'm using them... But it came out OK, I think.
I have lots to do with the bed before I attach it to the back. But here's a few shots.

Thanks Joe. I haven't finalized plans for the bed yet, but at least I have a script to add to it now.
I like your truck. Hope to be following your progress come Spring.

I'm really quite happy with the way it turned out. Just had to see a rear bed script in that original hood piece. I knew it was in there.

Thanks Mark. It's one of those 20 foot paint jobs! I would need a much steadier hand to do better.
The metal was really pretty rusty and cleaning the rust produced a couple of pinholes. But they're not really noticeable now, and will become invisible when it's mounted to the bed.

I don't think that's weird. I think it would look good if it was molded into ABS door panels. But your welding skills are such that you could add a metal script piece to each door and make it look factory.
I'm not sure of your door shape. I know it's not like mine. But the tailgate script might be too big for the door. This smaller version I got from Abe from the older hood sides might be just the ticket.

A lot of the fun of having these trucks is daydreaming...
