You sure did. We are all looking in our garage wondering how you managed such cool stuff while we have a million parts all over the place.

I will admit, I was short on time and skipped to your truck. Are there any other highlights we need to be sure and get? Shoot, I need to just go watch the whole thing.....

What's next on your agenda?

What I meant to say after I saw the parade pic and video is that I salute you sir for a job well done on Betsy and for honoring our nations vets. We could use some patriotism right now and you nailed it!

Well, I still have a problem with "something" locking up. It didn't happen for over a month. But when I was positioning the truck for the parade, I almost didn't get it to move forward in the parking lot. And when it was time to leave for the start of the parade, I thought I was going to have to pull out.

I have to figure out what's causing this binding. I have a new theory that it may be the parking brake. But that's just a theory for the time being. I'll need to work on it when I get home this weekend.

But thanks for replying. I was beginning to think I was being ignored...

And the video of the parade is long, so I know it's not really exciting to most folks, but the Betsy part shows up after 15 minutes.

I'd swear I posted a reply after the video, but it seems to be gone? Or did you have it in another thread? edit: I see now, you had a separate thread for the parade, that's where it was.

Yeah, I thought since I started that thread for the parade I should put the video there. But since I had pics in this thread for the bed and flags, I should put the video here too. Probably shouldn't double post...

Hello right back, and thanks.

Are you in Huntington Beach or Costa Mesa? Is your truck an F250 or an F2?

Thanks a lot. That was my intention. We have people dying every day in our forgotten war and only see on TV what they want us to see.

I was told recently that only 2% of Americans are veterans. I find that number hard to believe. Maybe that's because so many of my friends are vets too.

Anyway, I was proud to drive Betsy in that parade, and plan to continue each year as long as I can.

I second that... One of my favorite threads. Joe you're not helping my willpower when it comes to not looking for a F4!

Edit: you're not helping me just say no to F4's either Ray!

I think my perception was a little distorted. It took me over 3 hours to upload that video to YouTube, so when I finally got it posted, I guess I expected confetti and a band playing in the background!

I'll probably never catch Keith with his beautiful fire truck, but I shouldn't be too disappointed in the replies and views columns.

Yeah just noticed that too, Fixed it. I have a 1950 f2, and hb. Been reading your thread all the way through the past few days before I start rebuilding mine. Taking lots of notes.
