Ilya, I'm in Fresno right now, so I can't measure my door opening. I can tell you that it looks like the truck is going to hit the door, but it actually clears it by a couple of inches.

It might not fit if I still had the 7.00 x 18 tires on it or if I had the 8R x 19.5s on the back as well as the front.

I had to let the air out of the tires to get my F250 in the garage. I must remember that when I start putting the body back on. I needed about 2 inches.

Try getting an F-3 M-H under a normal 7' garage door! Won't happen. Glad I built the shop with 8' doors. Stu

Met another FTE friend

Well now, I'm up to three! That's about one every 6 months...

Having previously had the privilege of meeting Ross (ALBUQ F-1) and Ilya (51PanelMan), I was in southeastern Washington this week and was able to hook up with Wayne (52 Merc). My truck is already sporting a few parts scored from Wayne. (And my battery cables are courtesy of Ilya)

He showed me his great (huge) work shop and his "toys". It's an impressive place and display.

Then we went for a long ride in his Mercury truck. OK, that part's a lie. But we can all dream. Someday I'm going back for a ride in that Mercury truck.

Thanks Wayne!

Guess I better try to get to Utah and meet Josh (jmadsen), since the front bumper is from him...

My F5 with 19.5 rims fits under a 7ft door. My F6 also fit under a 7ft door with 8.25x20s. However with it being a fire engine, I had to remove the emergency lights and a few similar items. I have since upgraded to an 8ft door.

Joe, the pleasure was all mine. I enjoyed the evening and sharing my toy box with you. Thanks again for everything. Hope to do it again sometime.

Dang, I passed through Walla Walla on Friday, I thought of Wayne while I was driving past Tri Cities but unfortunatly did'nt have any time to spare.

I've only met one out of state FTE'r so far and that was Truckdog (STU) the rest of you I've only met in my dreams and your all probably much more normal in my dreams than in reality!!!
just kidding what is normal anyway? I know I sure the heck wouldn't know...

Hey Josh I'm inviting some FTE'ers to "Normal" (as in Illinois where I live) in mid-May and you are welcome to join us!

Finally measured it this weekend. My garage door opening is just under 7 feet. Something like 6' 11.5".

I'm sorry, I don't get it. "50" what?

EDIT Oh, I bet you mean 50 pages in this thread. Thanks.
