Need some help in Atwater CA

Hello,

I am shipping my 76 overseas to my duty station here in Belgium but have run into a huge snag. My truck is being painted in Atwater at my buddy's shop in September, another friend was supposed to complete the engine reinstall and get it to a point where it was safe to drive; engine is in (but not running) and I have now lost contact with my "friend." Truck is trill at my 1st friend's shop w/the engine in but the wiring not hooked up.

I need to find someone that can finish it (get it running and check the brakes - I will have to drive her about 50 miles once it arrives before I can get it to my house here in Belgium) and knows their way around an older truck. If anyone is in the area thats willing or knows someone reliable that wont charge $85 an hour please PM me!

It's a 4x2 w/a 351W, 3 spd manual on the column. Pretty basic.

Thanks!

I'd do it for gas money. I live in southeast modesto, and atwater is a jump down santa fe.

I got it running last Monday. Took a bit of figuring, since there was a six and a V8 harness in it. Still needs more to become roadworthy.

The list includes swapping to power steering(box and column), checking all the lights, verify charging, check brakes, possibly install brake booster, replace headliner, attach gas filler to body, replace defroster ducting, replace visors.

Ok, thanks. Donations of said replacement parts would be wonderful. For a 73-79 F100/150.

I did good at Pick n Pull yesterday. Got him a pwr steering box, headliner, 2 good visors, and a stock style air cleaner. Lucky shot being it was half price weekend. Wish I had the kash, I woulda got a PS box, and brake boooster for myself. I did manage to swindle 2 light springs for a Ford distributor, in case anyone needs a little cheap mod. I did it to Karl's for his FE. Power comes in a little sooner, which is nicer with a truck.
