88 f150
Got an 88 f150 2wd given to me as a gift last week. I had to replace the clutch slave cylinder. The old plastic line to the slave was junk so I replaced with a new one. Drove the truck for 4 days without a problem. Then last night trying to leave work the clutch pedal went right to the floor. Looked in the truck and the plastic slave line was hanging out side the trans like it came apart where it connects inside. Anyone run into this before. I've been a long time ford truck man and never seen this...... thanks for any help

Sounds like you didn't attach the line all the way. There's a small plastic collar at the end of the line that you have to push towards the cylinder.
Also, lots of people have problems with the cheap aftermarket replacements, either right away (like you) or 6-12 months down the road when the slave fails (like most). Go to Ford and nowhere else for the replacement part.
