I am working towards a restoration on a late 60's truck. I need a local shop who can do a basic frame off in a cost effective manner. Paint/mech. I can do part of the sourcing or let the shop do all depending on ability/cost.
I do not know about Portland, but here in Central Oregon, there are a couple.

Its all abaout the almighty dollar and how much body/mechanical work you need. The ONLY shop will use is Dale's Auto Body and Truck Repair in Stayton, they do not cut corners and do it right the first time.
