hey guys i finally traded in my truck for a nice edge...we dont mind it being quite since we have a baby and its our family car but we can tell when its running or not. so what do yall recommend for some sound? just a nice lilttle deep sound to be able to hear it s little bit so we dont burn the starter out...

and how can i improve some MPG..its gets 20 in city now...not looking for power just some better fuel efficiant upgrades...all i think about is a CAI?

Learn to watch the tachometer... it'll tell you when the engine is running. I don't think the starter will engage if the engine is running, so it's unlikely you could do any damage. The noise of a V6 with exhaust annoys me, so I appreciate the quiet ride of the Edge.

As for your economy, 20MPG in town is pretty good- it's what we get combined city/highway in our 2010.

 

well a mangaflow wouldnt sound to bad...i can read all gages...my wife was walking behind me while i was backing up and couldnt even tell it was running

 

Our '08 has a little tin can/bumble bee sound to it. Maybe they made them even quieter.
