After doing some reading at the Phillips 66 website it appears that Kendall is the only gasoline engine oil using the Titanium additive package. Each of their brands (Phillips 66, Conoco, 76 and Kendall) use Titanium additive packs on their HDEO products.

 

Castrol uses titanium on their edge lines. Both black and gold use titanium now, the gold uses considerably more, though

 

worked for a company a couple years ago that has been around for 20 years and has had a fleet of 15-20 vans on the road everyday in Phoenix (hot,hot,hot).......once had a conversation with the mechanic who maintains those vans about the bargain Napa brand oil they used......his take was the vans were expected to go 200k and that in his 10 plus years working for the company that was what they went as the rest of the van typically started to fall apart around the still running engine......point is its still just oil.......no matter the hype
