'72 crew cab on newer chassis

I've finally found a donor '72 crew, and plan to put it's body/bed on a newer chassis. Thinking of '99-'04 SDuty. Hopefully, the best of both worlds. Anyone heard of/tried/thought about this? If so, what chassis would you recomend and why? Brian

I haven't seen it done before on here but its been brought up acouple times nobody ever went farther then just talking about it unless they did and just haven't made a build thread on it I'm interested in doing this frame swap myself but with a dodge frame I want a cummins in my 71 crew cab from what it looks like it will be a good bit of work putting all the wiring in our trucks to make it run and function right also the body swap will need work getting it to sit on the frame also wheelbase comes into play not sure what the difference is between our years and the newer frames any info you find let me know I'm interested

With fabrication anything is possible but it won't be easy as the Super Duty's have a much wider frame I believe.

Xteme 4x4 did this a bit ago. I would check it out. Didn't look like to much work. I am sure it was a lot but doable
